We have been quietly building three tools that our users have been asking for since early 2025. They are all live now β here is what each one does and how to use it.
1. Chrome Extension β Contact Finder
Finding a buyer's email used to require leaving WhaleIntro, opening a separate tool, copying and pasting, and then coming back. The new Chrome extension removes all of that friction.
How it works: Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store (free for all paid plans). When you visit any company website, trade directory, or B2B platform, hover over the company section β the extension automatically checks our contact database and surfaces verified email addresses, job titles, and confidence scores in a small overlay card.
What you get:
- Email addresses with confidence scores and source attribution (so you know how reliable each result is)
- Job titles and department information where available
- One-click save to your WhaleIntro CRM, with automatic duplicate detection
- A validation check before saving β if an email looks unverifiable, you will see a warning before it enters your CRM
The extension works on company websites and most public trade directories. It does not require you to be logged into any third-party platform to surface contacts.
Chrome Web Store: Search for "WhaleIntro Contact Finder" or find it at the link in your WhaleIntro dashboard.
2. Google Maps Local Buyer Search
Trade directories and customs databases are useful for finding established importers β but not every buyer runs a large import operation. Many buyers are local distributors, regional retailers, or specialty shops that purchase in smaller quantities and do not appear in standard trade databases.
Google Maps surfaces these buyers. If you export pet food, you can search for "pet supply distributors in Hamburg" and find 40+ local businesses that might purchase from you β complete with website, phone, and in many cases an email address that we attempt to verify.
How it works in WhaleIntro: Go to the Prospecting section and select the "Local Search" tab. Enter your product category and target city or region. WhaleIntro queries Google Maps and then runs each result through our email finder waterfall β so instead of a name and a phone number, you often get an email address as well.
Quotas by plan: Free (2 per day), Starter (10 per day), Pro (30 per day), Team (100 per day).
This is particularly useful for Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and other EU markets where mid-size regional buyers are often better prospects than large national retailers.
3. Email Warmup Pool
New sending domains β or domains that have been inactive for a while β tend to land in spam. This is because inbox providers score senders partly on engagement history. A domain with no history looks identical to a new spam operation.
Email warmup gradually builds that history by generating controlled sending activity between real mailboxes over several weeks. WhaleIntro's warmup pool connects your outbound mailbox to a network of real accounts that open, read, and occasionally reply to warmup emails. This signals to inbox providers that your domain is legitimate.
How it works: In Settings, connect your outbound SMTP account and enable warmup. We start with low volume and increase gradually over 4β6 weeks based on your domain's current reputation. You can monitor progress in the Warmup tab.
What to expect: Most users see measurable improvement in inbox placement within 3β4 weeks. Warmup is not a guarantee β deliverability depends on many factors including content, sending frequency, and list quality β but it removes one of the most common and fixable causes of spam classification.
Available from: Starter plan and above.
Getting Started
All three features are accessible from your WhaleIntro dashboard. The Chrome extension requires a separate installation (link in the dashboard header). Google Maps Search is in the Prospecting section. Email Warmup is in Settings β Email β Warmup.
